Wheelchair Familarisation
Aim: To develop additional skills of drivers to include wheelchair safety systems.
Objectives:
At the course conclusion candidates will be able to demonstrate:
- Appreciation of requirements for restraints
- Application to wheelchairs in use in their organisation
- Fitment and use of safety systems applicable to those used within their vehicle

Additional Information
On booking training, the organisation must provide full details of all wheelchairs and restraints in use and vehicle to be used for transportation with sufficient fuel for training. A wheelchair of each type in use and correct restraints.Training Courses
