Driver Trailer Training

Aim: To develop sufficient knowledge and skill to enable drivers
to attach and use trailers to their vehicle.

Objectives:

At the course conclusion candidates will be able to;

• List operational and legal responsibilities of driving a trailer
• Perform trailer checks to include coupling and uncoupling
• Comprehend the importance of correct loading, weight and security of load
• Demonstrate a smooth system drive with emphasis on additional vehicle dimensions and safety

Assessment: Current valid driving licence must be presented prior to the commencement of training. Failure to present the above will result in candidate being refused training.
